STEM

What is STEM?

STEM integrates Science, Technology, Maths and Computing, to build connections across the curriculum. Through STEM children will develop key skills including, problem solving, creativity, teamwork, independent thinking, initiative, communication and digital literacy.

Why is STEM important?

Skills developed by children through STEM provide them with the foundation to adapt to our changing world and to succeed at school and beyond.

STEM @ Linden

At Linden we develop STEM through our Science, Maths, Computing and Design & Technology curriculum. Alongside this, children have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a range of different activities and events, including STEM club, British Science week and Internet Safety Day. Keep an eye out for our STEM feature in the School Newsletter.
