Extra-Curricular Activities
At Linden we are proud to offer a wide-range of extra-curricular activities, which complement and enhance our curriculum. The activities offer the children opportunities to try new experiences, which they may not otherwise have been able to try. They provide fun, stimulating and rich experiences whilst developing and enhancing pupils’ talents and skills beyond the curriculum. Activities are mostly led by staff in school and all take place in a safe and structured learning environment.
The activities on offer reflect the interests and passions of children and staff and can vary each term.
Sporting Clubs
This year at Linden our girls and boys football teams are competing locally with other schools. We also offer gymnastics, karate (externally run) and multi-skills. Throughout the year, children across the school are given many opportunities to compete in a range of sporting events such as cross country and swimming competitions.
Curriculum Clubs
Our curriculum clubs cover many interests, including arts and crafts, STEM and newspaper reporting.
Musical Clubs
We are delighted to offer a range of opportunities for children to experience music. On offer we have samba-drumming, school choir, Rock Steady (externally run) and opportunities for pupils to learn to play an instrument in school including individual lessons and whole class clarinet and ukulele lessons.
