Young Voices - January 2023

We would like to invite children in Year 4 to take part in the 2023 Young Voices concert at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham. We believe this is going to be an amazing and exhilarating experience for the children and something very exciting to work towards! The children will be travelling to and from Birmingham by coach, leaving at approximately 11am, and will spend the day rehearsing for a final performance to commence at 7.00pm.

The concert is expected to finish at approximately 8.45pm – it will be a long but fun day! You will receive a letter with the finer details nearer the date. All children will travel back from the concert on the coach and will need to be collected from school. We regret that, due to the scale of the event, we cannot allow children to leave the concert early or with family. This is a wonderful event and one we believe the children will thoroughly enjoy. Travel

School will be paying towards the cost of the coach but we need to ask for a contribution of £7 per child. There is no cost for the children to attend the event other than the paying for travel arrangements.

Tickets for family

Unfortunately the deadline has now passed for ordering t-shirts and parent tickets.

Parents have the option to purchase tickets to come along to the concert if they wish to. Please find below the form that needs completing to purchase tickets for parents/carers/family members that would like to attend the performance (purchase of tickets will then be completed by the school as a block booking). Tickets for parents/carers cost £23.00 each. This will need to be completed and returned promptly as tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis, and are now already on sale. Please complete the form below and return it to school by Friday 14^th October 2022. Unfortunately, we cannot take any ticket orders after this date as there is a strict ordering window. Please note parents and carers will need to make their own way to the venue.

T-Shirt order form

An up-to-date Young Voices t-shirt can also be purchased for each child taking part, at a cost of £15.00 should you wish. This price also includes a mini torch. Please see the form below for this. These orders and payments will also need to be completed by Friday 14th October 2022. Your child does not have to wear the official T-shirt and can opt to wear a plain white T-shirt instead for the concert.

Please let the school know if you have any access requirements. Due to limited space Young Voices cannot guarantee that a party of more than two will be placed together. It is not always possible to seat audience members in sight line to our school due to technical and other constraints. *
