Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and that you have had a fantastic start to the school year. It has been wonderful to see all of the children back in school, eager to learn and full of enthusiasm. I would also like to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to our new reception children and their families. They have all had their first morning in school and we have been so proud of them. We look forward to getting to know them, as well as you, better in the coming weeks and months.
Communications
I would like to remind you that our newsletters are sent out fortnightly and ask you to keep a close eye on the key diary dates and notices - any interim messages or updates will be sent through our SchoolZine app. We encourage all parents to download the app if you haven't already done so, as it is an efficient way for us to communicate important information with you. The school office is able to assist you if you are having any difficulties accessing communication through the app. If any of your contact details have changed over the summer, please ensure that the office is made aware as soon as possible.
Collection of Pupils
As part of the school’s approach to safeguarding, we would like to remind parents that only Year 5 and 6 pupils are permitted to walk to and from school unaccompanied. If you haven’t completed a permission sheet, please do so as soon as possible. We would also like to confirm that pupils will not be released from classrooms to siblings or family members under the age of 16 years.
As we start this year together, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and cooperation. Your involvement in your child's education is invaluable, and we appreciate all that you do to ensure their success. Thank you once again for your commitment to Linden Primary. Let's make this a remarkable year filled with fun, growth and achievement.
Kind regards
Lucy Collins
