Dear parents and carers,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and that you have had a fantastic start to the school year. It has been truly wonderful to see all of the children back in school, eager to learn and full of enthusiasm. The attendance has been great, and it is heart-warming to witness the excellent attitudes the children have displayed towards their learning and school life.
I would also like to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to our new reception children and their families. They have settled in remarkably well into school, and we are excited to embark on this educational journey together. We look forward to getting to know them, as well as you, better in the coming weeks and months.
Over the past week, both staff and children have been considering our Linden 'why?' - delving deeper into our school ethos of 'Growing together to create lifelong learners.' Both our staff and children have engaged in discussions to explore what our school values of nurture, respect, inspire, and achieve mean to us. It is essential for us to understand and embrace these values as they form the foundation of our school community.
I would like to remind you that our newsletters are sent out fortnightly. Please make sure to keep a close eye on the key diary dates and notices included in these newsletters. Additionally, any interim messages or updates will be sent through our SchoolZine app. We encourage all parents to download the app if you haven't already done so, as it is an efficient way for us to communicate important information with you. The school office is able to assist you if you are having any difficulties access communication through the app.
As we start this year together, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and cooperation. Your involvement in your child's education is invaluable, and we appreciate all that you do to ensure their success.
Thank you once again for your commitment to Linden Primary. Let's make this a remarkable year filled with growth, inspiration, and achievement.
Kind regards
Lucy Collins
This afternoon we sent out an email with information regarding our emergency lockdown procedures and we regret any concerns this may have caused.
There were no incidents here at school and the email was for information purposes only regarding our policies and procedures.

Message from the Friends of Linden
Hello everyone, welcome back and welcome to the new children and parents starting this year. We hope that you all had a lovely summer break.
We hope that the Reception parents enjoyed the welcome pack and that your children are settling in well.
We are planning a coffee meeting event, which all parents and carers are welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity to meet the Friends of Linden team and other parents, with free refreshments provided. We will also be opening the after school tuck shop in a few weeks so look out for details about both of these events.
We are very excited to be running the Christmas Card project again this year. So if you hear your children talking about making Christmas pictures over the next few weeks, this is what it is for. More details will be sent nearer the time.
If you would like to contact us, please do so via [email protected]
Hope you have a great weekend.
