It’s lovely to be in the throes of a busy term, it’s starting to feel like a new normal. We have lots to look forward to – the Harvest Festival Celebration is on our minds, with further details later on in this newsletter.
We have also been choosing our Head boy and girl and their deputies: the interview process began with a letter of application to which we had over 40 applicants from year 6. From this, 14 pupils were shortlisted and invited to interview. Pupils came dressed to impress with notes at the ready. After incredible interviews we had the difficult job of selecting our Head boy and Head girl and their deputies.
I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge well done to ALL children who put in the time and effort to apply and to those who interviewed. You should all be immensely proud of yourselves.
Please welcome to our pupil leadership team:
Head Boy - Dawid
Head Girl – Darcey
Deputy Head Boy - Noah C
Deputy Head Girl - Maisie
Now they are in role they will be running the school council alongside Mrs Gelsthorpe as well as undertaking key roles outlined by me!
As always, if you have anything you would like to discuss with me please make an appointment to see me at a mutually convenient time,
Best wishes
Lucy Collins
Headteacher
